The 2018 AMA Motocross Championship season is the 46th season of the AMA Motocross National Championship, the inaugural motocross series in the United States. Eli Tomac went into the season as defending champion in 450 class, having earned his first 450 national titles in 2017. This is Tomac's second AMA motocross title, having taken 250 classes in 2013. In the 250th grade Zach Osborne is a champions defense after taking his first title last season.
