Sales

Brio's planned launch in India has been delayed since early 2011 due to the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami. It was finally launched in September 2011, right in front of the celebration season, with prices starting at INR395,000. It joins the Jazz in the Honda hatchback subcompact range for India. In the Indian market, it competes with Maruti Suzuki's Swift and Ritz, Hyundai i10, Ford's Figo, Nissan Micra and Toyota Etios Liva.
