Larry H. Miller Group Dealerships is a new and privately owned automotive retailer in the western United States. This is a division of Miller Automotive Operations, which is a subsidiary of Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. The company was founded in 1979 by businessman Larry H. Miller and is headquartered in Sandy, Utah. They are listed in the top ten groups of dealers in the country by 2014 and 2016.
The company owns and operates 54 dealers in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Washington, and California. Miller's current Miller Operations President is Dean Fitzpatrick, former general manager of one of the dealers in Provo, Utah.

History
Larry H. Miller Group of Dealerships started in 1979 when businessman Larry H. Miller bought his first Toyota dealer in Murray, Utah. It expanded into Washington state by buying Sundance Toyota in Spokane, Washington in September 1980. Larry H. Miller Group now has four dealerships in Washington. Westside Toyota in Glendale, Arizona was purchased in the same year, and there are now twelve dealerships owned in Arizona.
In April 1981, Toyota of Moscow was purchased in Idaho, and two other dealerships were purchased in the following years. The Used Car Supermarket Larry H. Miller opened in 1995 at Sandy, with Greg Miller - son of Larry H. Miller - as General Manager. Larry H. Miller Dealerships sold a million cars in 2007. From 2009 to 2010, seven new and used car dealerships were bought or opened in Washington, New Mexico and Utah. Miller died in 2009, and was replaced as CEO by his son, Greg Miller. Larry Miller is remembered by Utah Senator Orrin Hatch as making a positive impact in overall economic growth and impacting in the state of Utah.
Their flagship store - Larry H. Miller Toyota Murray - was transferred on 25 April 2011, to a new facility. The opening ceremony was held on 24 June 2011, where many leaders in the organization attended and participated in the ribbon ceremony. Five other dealerships in Arizona, Washington and Utah were acquired in 2012, and eleven opened and acquired in 2013. The first California dealer opened in Corona in 2014, and three other delightships opened or purchased in other countries in the same year. On September 27, 2014, the company sold 1.5 million cars at a Toyota Murray dealer. Automotive News listed it at number 10 over 125 US dealer groups in 2014.
The acquisition of Lakewood Fordland in the Denver, Colorado market in November 2014 brought the company back to its founding roots. Miller began his career in the automotive industry as a part seller in the Denver area. In December 2014 and June 2015, Fiat dealers Larry H. Miller in Tucson, Arizona and Avondale, Arizona became two of three dealerships in Arizona to bring Alfa Romeo 2015 Launch Edition on sale.
Larry H. Miller Dealerships began selling components online directly to consumers in July 2015. After resigning as CEO in March 2015, Greg Miller opened his own Toyota dealer in Lemon Grove, California on April 20, 2016. In April 2016, WardsAuto listed the company as the tenth largest US auto dealer in Wards Auto Megadealer 100.
On June 9, 2016, Larry H. Miller purchased Cherry Creek Dodge, Jeep Chrysler Colorado, and Fiat Denver from Dealin 'Doug Moreland. The Dodge Ram and Fiat stores are in Denver, while the Chrysler Jeep shop is in Aurora. The dealer was renamed Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Cherry Creek, Larry H. Miller of Colorado Chrysler Jeep, and Larry H. Miller of Fiat Denver. In July 2016, Larry H. Miller acquired AutoNation Nissan Southwest in Littleton, and the dealer was renamed Larry H. Miller Nissan Southwest.
The company operates 64 dealerships for nineteen different manufacturers in seven countries including Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Washington, and California. President of Miller Automobile Operations is Dean Fitzpatrick, a former general manager of one of the dealers in Provo, Utah. Larry H. Miller Dealerships stated in March 2015 that they wanted to buy some dealerships in Texas.
