He finished the year as the top AMA Privateer, and between two full riders Harley Davidson Mike Smith and Pascal Picotte. Consistently qualifies as a top privateer, and on the same line as the Harley Davison factory rider is a good indicator that he's there as a rider, but is close to the equipment limit. At the end of the year Harley Davidson resigned from Superbike Racing.

2000 On the Honda RC51 HRC Jordan captured the first pole using a transponder timing in Canada, plus two wins in the opening double header round in Calgary, fifth place in the rain on CBR600F4 Sportbike used at Superbike in St. Louis. Finally won all Lt. Wt. GP polish and finishing in first place in all but one race (3), winning his first National Championship at the age of sixteen and completing consistently in the top ten for Pro 600 is typical of his year. This plus a win in the Pro 600 and Superbike in the season-ending RACE season against Honda's # 1 rider gave Jordan the confidence that he can not only run fast with people but also beat them. Jordan's results gave him a ride powered with a Honda over the '97 Honda CBR600F3 under the Pennzoil color.

1995 Jordan continued his victory in 1995, his rookie pro year, secured the RACE Professional Unlimited Twins Championship, RACE Professional 125 Grands Prix Championship, third place at RACE Professional Club Cup, second place WERA Expert Grand National Championship , once again won the John McCaw Memorial Trophy and Champion Spark Plug Rookie Professional from this year's awards, along with building two laps of class records during regular races. He also competed in additional classes, Twins and 250GP, usually ending in the top seven. He was asked to ride a few bikes in the final race of the season, for experiments and experience, usually developing faster lap times than regular riders do. He drove a highly competitive Honda RS125 GP in the last 250GP race within 1.5 seconds of a 125GP lap-record, with only a warm-up lap to practice on a bike he never even seated before. He was awarded the John McCaw Memorial Trophy as the greatest teen driver of the season.
