American Growler Inc. is a manufacturing company originally based in Ocala, Florida, now in Robbins, North Carolina. For more than ten years, a series of Light Utility Vehicles have been built, partly derived from drivetrains from the Jeep M151. The versions range from $ 7,000 in kit price, $ 15,500 tune dune buggy, and the $ 33,000 version sold to the Dominican Republic military.

Light Strike Vehicle
The most expensive Growler model at over $ 100,000 each, is the Growler Light Strike vehicle. It was specially designed to be transported in a small cargo of V-22 Osprey aircraft rotor along with a mortar-drawn Expedition Fire Support System.
The V-22 cargo compartment is five feet wide, five feet tall and less than 17 feet in length. In 2005, the Marines plan to buy 400 vehicles in a combined contract with an estimated mortgage system of $ 296 million.
