The twin Honda 500 is a series of twin direct motor made by Honda since 2013. This is a standard bike/naked CB500F , CBR500R sports bike, and adventure bike tour CB500X . Their introduction coincides with the new European licensing rules of building a motorcycle middle class with limited strength. The new 500 twins are similar to the CB500 parallel-twins previously discontinued in 2003, but with new machines, frames, and other parts. They were made in Thailand, where Honda had previously only made smaller displacement motorcycles.
These three models use twin cylinder, cylinder, inline, transversely 1801, twin-cylinder, inline, transversely mounted engines that output power and cubic capacity under the upper limit of European SIM A2.
All models also share the same six-speed gearbox and most parts of the cycle. The CB500X has a larger fuel tank and longer ride front suspension makes it slightly taller.
At launch, CBR500R supports the European Junior Cup in 2013 and again in 2014.
Since 2014, Honda has partnered with local organizers to promote the national CBR500R Cup event in Brazil & amp; France; running in various circuits, the competition is open to amateurs from 13 years and over.

Model history
All three models were announced on the eve of EICMA November 2012 in Milan:
- 2013 April: CBR500R released - sport faired bikes
- 2013 April: CB500F released - standard plain
- July 2013: CB500X released - multi-purpose adventure bike adventure
- 2016: All models add LED lights on all models; larger fuel tanks on versions F and R
- 2017: All models meet EURO4 with new exhausts, colors and new styles
Standard ABS on all models in most markets; for example for 2017, it remains an option in the United States
Reactions
Since its launch, its staff has received many favorable reviews; some prefer the higher X model while the sporty R model is one of Honda's best-selling bikes in Canada during 2015 and the best-selling sport bike in Australia. Many commentators, especially in off-road and long-distance touring, argue for the need for middle-class motors. Perhaps as a consequence, by 2015, RallyRaid, the UK's after-market specialist, is making an upgrade kit for R & F engine and full adventure conversion device for X model.
