The 2015 Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas is the second round of the 2015 Grand Prix motor racing season. It was held at Circuit of the Americas at Elroy on April 12, 2015.
In MotoGP class, Repsol Honda Marc MÃÆ'¡rquez took his first pole position of the season, and he finally won the race, his third win in years on the circuit. For the first time since the Aragon Grand Prix 2014, three different manufacturers are represented on the podium; behind MÃÆ'¡rquez is Ducati Andrea Dovizioso, who won in a battle with Yamaha's Valentino Rossi, who finished in third place. In its 200th premier class start, local hero Nicky Hayden could only finish in the thirteenth, while many drivers retired from the race - Pol EspargarÃÆ'³ collided with Scott Redding, causing both riders to retire from the race, while Yonny HernÃÆ'¡ndez, Mike In Meglio and Stefan Bradl all fell before the half mark.
