The New York International Auto Show is an annual automotive show held in Manhattan at the end of March or early April. It was held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Usually opened on or just before the Easter weekend and closed on the first Sunday after Easter. In 2017, NYIAS runs from April 14 to April 23.
This event has been held every year since 1900. This is the first automotive exhibition in North America.
The show was held at the New York Coliseum from 1956 to 1987 when the event was moved to the Javits Center.
Before the event is opened every year, some automotive companies start new production and concept vehicles for the press. In addition, the Greater New York Automotive Dealers Association (GNYADA) and the International Motion Press Association (IMPA) held a company meeting and event.
In addition to individual programs during the show, there are conferences related to cars, forums, symposia, and other meetings. The ten-day contribution to the City and State economy is estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars.

Nissan also introduced the 2014 Nissan NV200 Taxi, "Tomorrow of Tomorrow" in New York City, the night before the show's press day began. It was on display at the event as well.

The 2011 show is held from April 22 to May 1, with a preview day of the press on April 20 and April 21.

Infiniti announced the production of a medium-sized crossover JX, which will be revealed as a concept at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August, and in production at the LA Auto Show in November. Mazda announces a compact crossover production of CX-5 2013, which will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
