Jalan MG or Jalan Mahatma Gandhi formerly known as Jalan James is one of the busiest streets in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and the district's main shopping district in Secunderabad. It's spread over 2 km.

General Bazaar
Gold Market This area is famous for its gold shops and jewelry where people can buy traditional handmade jewelry. The gold market has grown here for 150 years.
The area is filled with Zari/Kanchi Saree shops and Wedding related shops. The area also has big shopping names like Bomanna, Chandana Bros, etc.
There is a branch road to the west leading to Begumpet Airport, and the road is where Sir Ronald Ross is said to have discovered the cause of malaria.

Police Station
The M.G. The road in Secunderabad was formerly known as James Way. The Police Station was designed by the Board of Bahadur Ramgopal who donated it to the Police Department for use. According to the orders of the Andhra Pradesh government dated March 23, 1998 hours and the building of the police station is designated as an inheritance building.
