Honda Amaze ( Japanese: ???????? , Honda Ameizu ) is a 4-door sedan manufactured by Honda. This is a sedan version of the Brio hatchback. Honda launched Amaze in India in April 2013 and developed in Honda R & amp; D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. located in Bangkok, Thailand. Amaze is available in gasoline and diesel engines.

First generation (2013-2017)
Amaze is Honda's first diesel offering in India. This car is also available with a 1.2 liter gasoline engine (L8B) used in Fit/Jazz and Brio hatchbacks.
Aside from being the first diesel car in India, Amaze is placed in a profitable entry-level 4-meter sedan segment, where it competes with Maruti Swift DZire, Tata Indigo eCS, Tata Tigor, Volkswagen Ameo, Zest, Ford. Figo Aspire and Hyundai Xcent. In the Philippines, Brio Amaze also competes with Mitsubishi Mirage G4.
Honda provides a new 1.5A diesel engine in India (Amazon) on Amaze. This machine gets the i-DTEC moniker and is a derivative of the new Civic 1.6Ã, L (98Ã, cu in) recently launched diesel engine in Europe. India's special derivatives are developed around the excise/taxation rules that offer a favorable tax regime for sub 4 meter cars with engines with a capacity of less than 1.5Ã, liter (92Ã, cuÃ, in). Honda claims this all-aluminum engine is the lightest diesel engine in its class.
The turbocharger used on the i-DTEC Immersion 1.5 liter (92 Â ° C) diesel engine is designed and built by Honeywell.
Update 2016
Amaze has been updated in May 2016. This update includes a new grille, dashboard design, the same as Brio, new rear lights, and the use of continuous variable transmission, replacing the 5-speed automatic one. The engine remains the same. Similar to previous models, both engines use the same 5-speed manual transmission, while the CVT is offered only on petrol variants.

The second-generation Amaze was launched at Auto Expo in February 2018 in India, which Honda claimed built on a new platform. The diesel engine is now mated with a CVT. Sales
Sales figures in February 2015, released by Honda Cars India and Amaze were the highest selling models for Japanese companies, with 7,163 units sold.
