History
In 1981, the Industrial Republic was created, specializing in waste disposal by Robert Alpert of A & amp; B Investors, Tom Fatjo, and Bill DeArman. H. Wayne Huizenga became Chairman of the Board in 1995. The Republic embarked on a car sales initiative it used to purchase Auto Nation USA in 1997, followed by Car Choice Inc.
